As of this writing, it is March 21st, 2020 and we should all be at home doing our part to help level out that bell curve against Covid-19. This means that for most musicians, paid shows are gone. And for those of us who relied on shows for our careers? Well, it's a scary time. It cannot be denied by me or anyone else in this industry.
This is a special version to celebrate When We Lie's (Peace), 30-year birthday. It's longer, it's bolder, and what else? It's about time. I originally created this version to be part of a 12" Vinyl, but with all the stuff that's going on, I don't think this is going to happen any time soon.
Look, it just does not make sense. But here is in its HQ glory, ready to be played loud, to incite dancing in your living room as you stay put during these trying times... And to sit there on your phone whenever you need it. The record will happen when it can, I promise.
As a creator, I am stuck at home too. My shows were canceled, and who knows when they will return. Until then, there is now, and so here you go. It's a #synthpop favorite of Abox fans and I hope you will spread the word!
