Living In Oblivion You can't hide the pain I can see it scrawled on your empty face And I feel the hurt It's in the words you say, they make me want to Scream out to the world For taking life for granted and I know You are by my side When I turn to hear you cry I am so afraid of living in oblivion I am so afraid of living in oblivion Am I so blind? With my eyes turned to a different time or hour At the end of the day When we both run down and our hopes are heavy Tell me what you will 'Cause I've got to know the truth inside of you Can you hear what I say When I hold you and you scorn the day? I am so afraid of living in oblivion I am so afraid of living in oblivion Living in oblivion Living in oblivion So I ask again Am I so alone and full of pride? To never speak out This is my world, this is my world Don't tell me now I won't feel those words, I won't feel the lies they tell Can you hear my scream? It's for everyone, for everyone I am so afraid of living in oblivion I am so afraid of living in oblivion Living in oblivion Living in oblivion Claude S. (1990)

When We Lie 03:55
When We Lie I look to you And I see that you're aware I feel as though You can see what's deep inside Do you ever feel the need For the honesty in what you see? Do you ever want to know What's in store for you and me? When we lie We lie together all the time The future's mine When we lie We lie together all the time The future's mine I have never seen The honesty in some people's minds Only in you Did I ever find some thing inside The loneliness and the broken dreams That's what we're going to share Everything that is in your face I will recognize with time When we lie We lie together all the time The future's mine When we lie We lie together all the time The future's mine Everything that is in your face I will recognize with time (when we lie) Everything that you've ever done You will do to me When we lie We lie together all the time The future's mine When we lie We lie together all the time The future's mine Claude S. (1990)

Kiss Of Love 04:57
Kiss Of Love I felt the Sun on me Made me see something I can't explain Something in the wind calling my name How is it possible? I don't know I don't know When I held your hand The same emotion enveloped me Bizarre as it may seem I thought I heard somebody say Feel the kiss of love Know that it's real, these emotions we feel Feel the kiss of love Know that it's true when it happens to you When I think of you The world takes new meaning and so does my life Seems like paradise Hopelessly, you and me at peace I love you I love everything I love you I love everything Feel the kiss of love Know that it's real, these emotions we feel Feel the kiss of love Know that it's true when it happens to you Feel Feel the kiss of love Know that it's real, these emotions we feel Feel the kiss of love Know that it's true when it happens to you Feel the kiss of love Know that it's real, these emotions we feel Feel the kiss of love Know that it's true when it happens to you Claude S. (1990)

Jubilation 04:53
Jubilation Every time I close my eyes I hide behind the blackened lies That follow me Throughout my history The lives I've touched, the things I've done The things I know will never come Get washed away In my happiness And, oh When you feel stranded Don't take for granted This thing called life And, oh When you feel stranded Don't take for granted This thing called life Moving on was hard to do To leave the things that I once knew Childhood is the one thing That won't come back to me How can I sit idly by Watching all these hours denied? My name is all I have For an offering And, oh When you feel stranded Don't take for granted This thing called life And, oh When you feel stranded Don't take for granted This thing called life Built-up walls that crumbled down People marched and stood their ground I saw it happen It was part of me And, oh When you feel stranded Don't take for granted This thing called life And, oh When you feel stranded Don't take for granted This thing called life Don't take for granted Claude, Paul, Dania (1990)

Soul On Fire 04:52
Soul On Fire Here I am, all alone All alone with empty hopes Here I ran, all alone All alone within myself My heart is on fire My soul will burn My heart is on fire My soul will burn Here I lay, all alone All alone within myself Here I ran, all alone All alone to sit and wait My heart is on fire My soul will burn My heart is on fire My soul will burn My heart is on fire My soul will burn My heart is on fire My soul will burn If this should leave me now If only I could walk Yes, I remember a place so far away Is there nothing I can say? The words have died away (Words) My heart is on fire My soul will burn Claude S. (1990)

Our Dreams 05:18
Our Dreams When we were growing up We wanted to become The special people In this lonely, broken place And after all the years have gone Only a few of us Ever reached our goals Some of us are still trying hard Do you know? That's all we wanted was to have our dream Do you know? That's all we wanted was to have our dream Our ambitions are sacred to us They keep us moving forward in our lives You don't have the right to make it die in us You don't have the right to destroy Do you know? That's all we wanted was to have our dream Do you know? That's all we wanted was to have our dream To the governments of the world To greed, to anger To war, to hatred To racism, to religion To disease, to destruction To the bombs, to confusion To reality, to the jealousy To the governments of the world Do you know? That's all we wanted was to have our dream Do you know? That's all we wanted was to have our dream That's all we wanted was to have our dream That's all we wanted was to have our dream Do you know? That's all we wanted was to have our dream Do you know? That's all we wanted was to have our dream That's all we wanted was to have our dream Claude S. (1990)

Carmen 04:51
Carmen There was a girl who used to live At the grey house by the bridge At the edge of the empty world Carmen's the name That evokes the fear and shame From the people that she left behind She had the spirit To live her life so free Although many people wanted to clip her wings She ran away She broke away the chains That they wrapped around her heart The people said, 'out of all the things she's done The worst one was just leaving without saying goodbye' The people said, 'out of all the things she's done The worst one was just leaving without saying goodbye' Carmen, the voices cry out Carmen, the voices die out Carmen, the voices cry out Carmen, the voices die out Claude S. (1990)

Lady In Waiting Hush hush, hurry into the dark room And try to forget the words They seep into your head The rules are broken tonight They can't haunt you anymore Tonight On a silver platter How hard I found the words And still, I carry the hurt It was too hard to see And it drove inside of me I can't stand to bear the sores I can't stand you anymore Since the night I left you Since the night I shared All of my emotions All the pain I felt Since the night I left you Since the night I shared All of my emotions My lady in waiting Since the night I left you Since the night I shared All of my emotions All the pain I felt Since the night I left you Since the night I shared All of my emotions My lady in waiting Since the night I left you Since the night I shared All of my emotions All the pain I felt Since the night I left you Since the night I shared All of my emotions My lady in waiting Since the night I left you Since the night I shared All of my emotions All the pain I felt Since the night I left you Since the night I shared All of my emotions My lady in waiting Paul R. I felt The Pain There's been a lot of talking From the town where I come from All my friends are saying things Which make me doubt sincerity What is the meaning Of a truth or a lie? What is the meaning Of the things we feel inside? I felt the pain (Whenever you smile, whenever you cry) I felt the pain (Whenever you smile, whenever you cry) In looking at your eyes The feeling of love swells within my soul Every word that I say Has no meaning when you turned away Why do I stay here When I feel this way? Why do I need to see you On my darkest day? I felt the pain (Whenever you smile, whenever you cry) I felt the pain (Whenever you smile, whenever you cry) I can see your little boy Reminding me of who I was I can see a little girl She looks like you I felt the pain (Whenever you smile, whenever you cry) I felt the pain (Whenever you smile, whenever you cry) I felt the pain (Whenever you smile, whenever you cry) I felt the pain (Whenever you smile, whenever you cry) Claude S. Hypocrites 05:23
Hypocrites I wanted to show you That I really loved you so But you had to go, and I'm not crying Today, 'cause I know you're smiling You were the best And still you shine Deep inside Deep in pride Hypocrites, we are hypocrites With faces full of promises and words full of lies Hypocrites, we are hypocrites With faces full of promises and words full of lies The hypocrites came And the love was on their faces Just to think they were here Because of you I wanted to tell you That I really loved you so But you had to go away And I'm not crying Hypocrites, we are hypocrites With faces full of promises and words full of lies Hypocrites, we are hypocrites With faces full of promises and words full of lies The hypocrites came And the love was on their faces Just to think they were here Because of you I wanted to tell you That I really loved you so And still you shine Deep inside Hypocrites, we are hypocrites With faces full of promises and words full of lies Hypocrites, we are hypocrites With faces full of promises and words full of lies Claude S. / Nelson Torres (1990)

Just One Day 05:01
Just One Day Walking in the morning winds As I stare up at the clouds Slowly bring myself to rest Near a peaceful plain Hoping and waiting for some sign Anything will do I just wander in my soul In the search for you You would say "Please, please just go away And let your mind forget About this dreary day." Just one day in the life of a fool Just one day in the life of a fool The afternoon will pass my by As I reach the wall That stretches out across the land That I knew so well And in a garden there All the flowers bloom Reminders of a growing rose Always full of thorns You would say "Please, please don't cry this way" Slowly turn As the Moon shows her face Just one day in the life of a fool Just one day in the life of a fool In the life of a fool In the life of a fool Darkness drapes itself on me As I'm heading home Carrying roses in my hands I'm thinking of you How you smiled And kissed my face Thought I heard you I thought I heard you say Just one day in the life of a fool Claude S. (1990)

All These Hours Undone Blackbirds dance among the roses On the garden walls They are like the passers-by On the nameless street All these hours undone Sounds of sandals on the curbstones Echo in my head Oh, the lathe of love has dwindled In the end All these hours undone I try to avert your love You brought me tears like rain With poise and empty gestures They took their toll All these hours undone All these hours undone Claude, Dania, Paul (1990)

about

This is a newly re-mastered version of Peace as it was meant to be. That means it has all the lyrics and includes a few remixes you've always wanted. Nearly all of it was recorded on an MPC60 and 24 track 2" Tape.

This edition includes a PDF book with the lyrics, photos and more. It's the way I would have loved to have released it on vinyl.
